The Child & Family Advocate serves to coordinate, monitor, and facilitate each step of the process; from the initial forensic evaluation to the services that follow once the forensic process is completed. They coordinate with DSS, the Solicitor's Office and the CARE House to promote closure for each case, including the facilitation of appropriate therapy.
This serves as a support system for each child referred to the CARE House. The Child & Family Advocate will coordinate follow-up services for medical examinations and referrals & for therapy and counseling services.

Another piece of Child & Family Advocacy is court advocacy. Our Child & Family Advocates will be with the family throughout the court process and will walk the child through everything that will take place in court. One way that is done is with our custom courtroom coloring books.
